Backpacker

There are not to many publications that have remained true to their roots and fortunately Backpacker is one. This outstanding magazine never ceases to amaze me, each month I eagerly await another issue anxious to flip through the glossy pages and soak up everything from the tear out GPS trial maps to the amazing Adventure sections. Each page is a wealth of backpacking knowledge that seems timeless. I highly recommend picking up one of these magazines and giving it a read, you will not be disappointed. Fortunately Backpacker now has a website that opens so may more doors into the camping, hiking, and backcountry world. If you do not have a current subscription I would check the newstands for the order forms in the magazine, it is often less expensive than the online price.
