Up a Mountain / Down a Beer

new sticker

Great new sticker!

Rarely do I find a sticker that jumps out as something I would stick on something I want to keep around.

Often my worthless stickers end up on my friends possessions! However yesterday I was given this sticker and am quite pleased with it. Now the question, do I put it on my rig, bike, water bottle or on a buddies stuff?

Thoughts?

Awesome!

You need to do a post on snowshoes. I need to get a pair as I’ve committed to doing the Leadville 20 miler in January, but I know nothing about what kind to buy.

Ah yes, the classic sticker dilemma; you found one so cool that you want to show it off to everyone, but you can only stick it one place and you only get one shot at it. The exact reason I have an entire desk drawer full of unused stickers. And not crap advertisement stickers either, all good stuff that I paid a buck or two for. Some of my favorite canvases for sticker display include:
- Water bottle - this seems to be a default location these days. Everyone has a water bottle and everyone personalizes it with a sticker. Beats the hell out of writing your name with a sharpie.
- Skis or snowboard - I’ve tried both, they seems to stand out more on snowboards.
- Vehicle - This is cliched but you can still set yourself aside by NOT sticking it on your back window or bumper. Try the front quarter panel, just over the wheel well, like on a Ferrari.
- Front door - screw your property management or homeowners association.

Hey UTM I seem to remember a sticker placed on a avalanche warning sign. And a few on ski lift support posts, and some on trash cans…

That’s a definite water bottle sticker if I ever saw one.

[...] her to explain the 300+ numbered mugs hanging over the bar. It caught my eye because each mug was personalized with a sticker or two. They have some type of club (obviously designed for locals) where for a very reasonable price [...]
