For those in the know Race Across AMerica or more commonly known simply as RAAM, is one of , if not the toughest cycling race in the world. Held annually this is a race like no other, pitting strength and determination against everything we know as rational. These uber masochistic athletes push them selves to exhaustion and beyond. Riding a minimum of 300 miles a day for ten consecutive days for a total of 3000 miles. This is the real deal. Fortunately Auer Films has created an epic awe inspiring peek into this race of mystical proportions. Bicycle Dreams brings it to us with stunning imagery and a captivating sound track that will nuke your senses and blow away everything rational you think you know about what is hard core. My friends, this is HARD CORE!!

I’ve heard that Bicycle Dreams is supposed to be available to buy from the site in a couple weeks. I really want to see it. You’re off by a few years on my RAAM attempt. It was 2006. I first qualified in 2002 at the Furnace Creek 508.
